Bin Laden's FBI poster

Hmmm. So, another bin Laden tape is set to be released just in time to bolster Bush’s claims that Iraq is the frontline in the “war on terror” – which, of course, is just in time for his and Petraeus’ reports on Iraq.

Remember that “reverse psychology” tape just days before Election 2004 telling Americans NOT to vote for Bush? Might as well have slapped a bumper sticker on his ass. (OK, if I use “donkey” the right will find a way to blame the Democrats.)

And, all these heightened terror alerts and arrests? So timely. (See my post, “Read or ignore: it’s your country!” 6/7/2007 LINK)

What follows is the exact text of the FBI’s “Most Wanted” poster on Osama bin Laden. Can you, dear reader, leave a comment and tell us what is MISSING?

Ass is what people called donkeys for centuries. The word donkey didn't come into use until the past couple of hundred years. So you could argue that you're just using the donkey's proper name.

I agree with your stance on this new Bin Ladin tape. In fact, everything about Bin Ladin has been awfully convenient for Bush. It's enough to make a person suspect that Bin Ladin is being supported by our own government...

Cue the black helicopters. -)

Thanks for leaving a comment.

It’s an awful thing when you feel you can no longer trust your own government – something I’ve never experienced until the last few years.

There’s just something really strange about the bin Laden tapes – can they be a result of technology? You know, like “Wag the Dog.”

And, who determines their authenticity? Our government.

Let us not be fooled by all the fearmongering about the Islamic terrorists. What is missing? The news about the Christian Jihadist in America. Don't fool yourself that they aren't gaining momentum and flying under the radar while the Islamic Jihadist fearmongering is fed to the American public.

Jan just read another rather long article about another group of the Christian Jihadist's saber rattling conventions. (One preacher even dressed in full Crusade Armor) Does the name "former judge (ole granite himself) Roy Moore of AL" ring a bell with you? Even rumblings about him running for 2008 prez.

Read it yourself:

"In the Footsteps of Bin Laden," offers some insight into the process by which a FATWAH becomes the justification for violence. There must be a call to the enemy to join the followers of Allah. Assuming that the enemy fails to adequately respond, then justification exists to kill "up to 10 Million" of the enemy. Please note that in Bin Laden's latest videotape, he calls on Americans to convert to Islam. If nothing else, this puts him in the good graces of the Imams for whatever action follows.
He is dangerous, alive or dead, and for us to dance around the point that he remains free, and that our bizarre leader seems pleased to be "kicking ass" in Iraq is a reflection of the absolute ignorance of our leadership. Despite what Senator McCain may think, the "surge" is not working, because the danger grows more pervasive with every minute those boys and girls remain there. Frodo is tired of counting bodies; he shudders to think what 10 Million may represent.

Merry, thank you for your posting. I don't even know how to begin when I read the comments, but to say that I do truly believe that the government has and does and will "foment" problems in foreign countries for the simple fact that "we" need to move in and take over to solve those problems. I didn't dream this up by myself. In a far younger time when I would never have entertained this thought--or thought of it myself--a college friend told me of his CIA father's career.

His father was sent into areas "we" would like to control and teams would foment unrest. Then, the teams were out of there. And the "natives" were restless. The US of A went in to settle problems. His father was in Thailand and the Vietmam area before the war. The man left the service disillusioned, it wasn't what he'd had in mind when he joined the CIA as a post-graduate student with no job prospects, they made it sound good, and they made him feel wanted in the job market. It is the way "we" operate that distroyed his illusions.

I know you know this from former comments I have made, but I say it again because I think it's an important bit of common everyday news passed from one friend to another in those college days. And it is something your commenters may think about.

It isn't all about good and evil, it's about business as usual. Evil as it may be, it's the way of things. I do think, however, that the Bin Ladin story may be a bit more than we are used to.

Look at it this way: It has been said that to figure out what's true you look at what you get, what you can see, to see what's there. "What you see is what you get." And, you know, the Bin Ladin thing just comes and comes and comes as a press release. People like Massoud who would have stood up to this are dead. How funny, assassinated just before 9-11. And Bin Ladin is a name. And even the Islamic press is only using a name. And it comes up every single times the presidential ratings are down. We, as a people, should be ashamed for putting up with this. I think that we just don't know what to do about it. Eowyn

ANSWER TO WHAT’S MISSING FROM BIN LADEN’S FBI “MOST WANTED” POSTER:

9/11.

The poster, strangely, was updated two months after 9/11, has not been updated since and has never linked Osama bin Laden to the events of 9/11/2001.
